Programs
Fun & Creativity
Art
With me every child is an artist! Our process-over-product art program invites toddlers and preschoolers to:
-
Squish, swirl, and discover through sensory-rich materials (think finger-paints, clay/play-dough, and nature collages)
-
Develop fine motor skills with child-safe tools (chubby brushes, sponge stamps, tear-free glue)
-
Celebrate creativity without templates – because masterpieces look like joyful messes at this age!
"We don’t make crafts – we make confidence!"
Music
At Little Stars, we make daily music magic! Our little musicians explore rhythm and melody through:
-
Interactive song circles (with scarves, shakers & movement)
-
Mini "instruments" (rain sticks, drums, and chime bells)
-
Silly & soothing tunes – from nursery rhymes to original songs about diaper changes!
"Where off-key singing is encouraged and every pot becomes a drum!"
We incorporate songs in English and Spanish.
Movement
I believe active bodies build active minds! Our daily movement adventures include:
-
Toddler yoga ("downward dog" with giggles)
-
Obstacle courses (cushion mountains & tunnel crawls)
-
Freeze dance parties & scarf twirling
-
Outdoor movement games (bubble chases & nature walks)
"Because sitting still is overrated – let’s grow strong bodies and happy hearts!"
Language
"Tiny Talkers Language Adventures"
At Little Stars, we turn everyday moments into language-building magic! Our immersive approach includes:
For Infants:
-
Baby sign language ("more," "milk," "all done")
-
Responsive babbling conversations
-
Nursery rhymes with lap bounces
For Toddlers/Preschoolers:
-
Interactive storytime with props & voices
-
"Question of the Day" chats during snack time
-
Spanish color & counting games (or other languages)
"Where first words, funny mix-ups, and endless 'why?' questions are celebrated!"
Mathematics
"Math Beginnings at Little Stars"

For Infants (6-18 months):
We plant the seeds of math through:
• Sensory exploration (filling/dumping baskets, grasping different shapes)
• Nursery rhymes with counting ("Five Little Ducks")
• Everyday math language ("Big block!" "More puffs?")
For Preschoolers (3-5 years):
Our math adventures grow with:
-Number recognition with hopscotch & calendar play
-Measurement games (who built the tallest block tower?)
-Pattern play with colored bears or nature items
-Play grocery store with pretend money & quantities
"Turning snack time into counting time, and block play into geometry class!"
Outside Play
"Outdoor Adventures at Little Stars"

At Little Stars, fresh air fuels our fun! Our outdoor time blends nature exploration with developmental play through:
For Infants:
• Sunshine strolls & sensory gardens (crunchy leaves, smooth stones)
• Blanket time with bubbles and cloud gazing
For Preschoolers:
-Tricycle paths & obstacle courses
-Nature scavenger hunts ("Find something green!")
-Sidewalk chalk masterpieces & water play
"Where puddle jumps count as science and tree bark becomes a texture lesson!"
